Andrea Frainier, MBA, is an award-winning communications specialist with experience in the transit, journalism and nonprofit worlds. She currently works in BART's Marketing and Research department. Andrea developed a strong interest in finance as a child (she's been on a budget since she was in kindergarten). She joined the Investment Plans Committee in 2015, and her focus is to combine her knowledge and experience to provide information to BART employees in a timely and clear manner, actively engage the committee and build and preserve the IPC's mission for the short and long term.
